A Pakistani family has been rescued from slavery, thanks to your partnership and love showing up! This week they are setting up their own little business.
That sentence took years to write.
Slavery is not an abstraction in the parts of the world where we work. It is a family owned by someone else, working without wages, with no way out and no one coming for them. Until someone does.
We do not know their whole story yet. But we know the ending that is being written right now: free. Earning. Building something that belongs to them.
That is the Gospel with its shoes on, and it happened because you said yes to God’s leading. You showed up. Love showed up. Thank you!
